Fleet Membership
2008 All Series Membership *
Captains Membership
Anyone owning a Sailing Catamaran can become a member. Membership costs
for skippers are $170 for the entire sailing season. This covers the cost
of administrative supplies, race markers, start flags and signs and other
fleet related items. It also goes toward the fleet awards party at the
end of the season. But wait! You also get 2 complimentary fleet tee-shirts.
Additional
tee-shirts may be purchased for 20 dollars each. Fees are due before the
season starts. Late joiners are welcome, any fees will be pro-rated. The
fee for a single series is $60.
You don't necessarily need to be a member to participate in any given
race, just call ahead and we'll work you in! Heck, you can probably just
show up and join in the fun, but a call first helps!
Crew Membership
Individuals desiring to crew or be members of the committee are encouraged
to participate free of charge, and are often afforded special privileges
as complimentary drinks and appetizers. We are especially interested in
finding folks interested in administrative and committee roles!
Boat Storage
The fleet is lucky in that we have contracted with a local property owner
for a boat storage and launch site. Fleet boats can be left rigged at the
lot and sailed whenever in addition to the races, all for around $80/month. Boats may be
kept on trailers, or on the grass. There are several sets of Cat Trax around
to help shuttle your boat to the water. You must be associated with and
obtain permission from the fleet before using this lot, it is not open
to the public.
